Let’s start this off with the good old dinosaurs. Amazing beasts, roaming for millions of years. But they were only temporary.
Or the greatest leaders in history? Genghis Khan built a mighty empire. Which was only temporary.
And what about you?
Always driving yourself forwards, afraid to stop in case something overtakes you.
Like a child running down a hill, unable to stop because their head is going faster than their legs.
But everything is temporary.
At some point, your clients will leave you. At some point, you will leave your clients.
Your website is temporary. Your content is temporary. Your computer? Temporary. (It was obsolete long before it left the factory.)
This is not about what you do, nor how well you can do it. It’s about your tea going cold and you making a new one.
You can choose who you want to invite to your party. And you can make mistakes. Big mistakes that blossom into fantastic stories.
You are temporary. A memory. And knowing this, temporary as you are, you can give yourself permission.
Play! Create! Go feral!
Because whatever it is that’s holding you back is temporary too.
